Enemies and Animations, Capn's Log 09
Ahoy Gamers!
I have been slowly working on new units, when you will fight units, and level design. I have all the zones made, and all the battlegrounds mapped out, just need to build each battleground and then build the enemy units that belong in each one. While I am working on that I have been planning about when the player will encounter these enemies, and when the player will be able to level up their character as well as unlocking the minions as the player advances.
Mostly it has been a lot of planning, testing, and not much on the physical building part of the game. However, I think I have it all mapped out so it seems good on paper, now to implement it in the game and get it put together. My plan moving forward is still to have the playable demo of zone 1, with 6 battlegrounds made. Also with this demo will be the start screen, character creation screen, the player set up before entering battle screen and the zone screen where the player will choose the battle. All these are made individually but just need to be connected and tested to make sure it works.
So by the looks of it, things are on track for a soon to be released into an early access state. The polish and bug fixes will come after I put the full game together, which will start coming fast now that I have all the blocks put in place.
New features that will be coming are different unit types, a large unit type, a power up or battle perk, rewards and actual leveling up. These are yet to be built and tested so it will be down the road, first I want to get this first zone built and tested and make sure that its fun to fight each battle.
By the weekend I will have this zone finished and ready to play and test. Hope you are looking forward to it as much as I am.
